Upcoming Workshop Schedule

All workshops are open to all levels of experience. Material costs are included in the workshop fee.

Pease note the location and method of registration for each individual workshop. Joan teaches at her studio on Salt Spring Island which is located on the north side of St. Mary Lake. Other workshops are held regularly in Victoria or at other locations as listed.

Each workshop offers exposure to its own set of techniques and materials within the fascinating world of basketry. We discuss the selection and preparation of materials, the historical and contemporary significance of basketry and ultimately I hope to share the fun and thrill that goes along with creating a three dimensional object by hand.
